On a clear day one can see Halkidiki and the sunrise behind Mount Athos. Mouresi overlooks a deep valley whose great beauty is known only to the few lovers of nature, the initiates, who have sought out a guide to take them down the deep recesses of the ravine where two cascading streams form natural pools in whose ice-cold waters only nereids and nymphs have bathed since the dawn of time.

The village's flag-stoned, main square is dominated by a tall linden tree that generously lends its shade to the beautiful church of Holy Trinity.
