The traditional coastal village of Horto, is situated on the west side of the Pelion Peninsula, overlooking the beautiful Pagasitic Gulf. Horto is just 46km from the city of Volos, and is very easy to reach, as you travel along the coast.

The sea waters here are perfect, and offer a perfect place for a refreshing swim during the hot summer months. There are also several other beaches within easy reach of Horto, such as that of Milina, which is just 3km away.

Horto brings together a perfect blend of relaxation and harmony, and the imagery of the green plants and groves, leading all the way down to the blue waters of the Pagasitic Gulf are enchanting.

The village of Horto was built amongst large olive groves, which lead all the way down to the beautiful beach.

For those who may be interested, there is the museum of Aggelimis in the village, where you can go and see the exhibits of old and traditional precious objects, such as books, tools and relics. It is a very interesting visit should you have the opportunity.
