The Saint Lawrence is a village in the prefecture of Magnesia. Is built on the southern slopes of Pelion at an altitude of 600 m. And 19 km. East of Volos, between Drakeia villages and Agios Georgios. Near the village flows the torrent Vrychonas.

Today, St. Lawrence remains one of the villages of Pelion, but, like all the villages of the region, has begun to decline both economically and in population. The villagers still live from agriculture and an important source of income is tourism.

The village retains a rich traditional architecture with many churches, mansions, squares, fountains and cobbled streets.

Every year in Saint Lawrence, many religious festivals organized. In June, the women of the village organize the Festival of Cherry. Also since 2006, in late August and early September, the St. Lawrence organized and the cycle of musical events 'Music Village'.

On June 1, the feast of St. Lawrence and on July 20 in celebration of Prophet Elias organized major events.
