Agios Georgios Nilias of Magnesia is old village of Pelion. Formerly an independent community. In 1998, he became municipal district of Miles, and since 2011 he joined the South Pelion.

Agios Georgios Nilias is built at an altitude of 700 m. In a hillside location overlooking Pagasitikos, about 20 km. East of Volos, between St. Blaise and Pinakates.
